This Festive Edit is your book-buying and Diwali book gifting guide for varied age-groups. The books and products here all have a mythological theme to them. Some are specifically linked to Diwali and related celebrations. So, here goes! 

Infants and Toddlers

Look for lovely picture books, preferably board books with a touch and feel element.  They make for great Diwali gifts, that will be cherished over time! This versions by T4 Tales, Kahani Purani- The Ramayana retold in Hindi for toddlers, is just fantastic!

3-9 years 

Picture books that narrate the stories of Diwali in an easy relatable manner are best for Diwali book gifting. Also, there are a few flashcards that really resonate with this group. Why not experiment with some retellings of mythological stories? There are some wonderful books in this genre, and looking at mythology from a completely different viewpoint can indeed become a very enlightening experience!
